As elegant as an Italian suit: the “Satin” surface finish, which comes in a range of soft colours, adds a touch of class to the popular Pronto bistro range. The charming black, apricot, light grey, maroon and white tones work well together and with brighter colours. This new type of coating feels like finely polished biscuit porcelain. “Satin” is subject to the strict quality standards of KAHLA/Thüringen Porzellan GmbH. The porcelain is “made in Germany” in a sustainable way, and is food-, and microwave-safe and suitable for dishwashers. Textured surfaces are more susceptible to wear caused by cutlery. Development manager Regina Hadersbeck explains that “any scrapes left behind by cutlery can be easily removed with the usual cleaning products. Persistent food remains can be removed by gently rubbing the surface with a sponge and some cleaning creme”.
