My wife has about a dozen semiltasse(?) tea cups and plates from GDR. One has I/20 on bottom. Any idea of their worth?
Russ, sorry for delayed reply. We are not familiar with this marking. Would check some of the website for older china. we do not have any pricing for older pieces
found several white with gold edge cups and saucers…have a crown with the word Kahla in a circle…German Democratic Republic under the circle and a small number 4
Dear Chris, these cups would have been manufactured before 1989 during East German times. Send me a picture of the bottom and I will pass it on to Germany!
Hello,
I was hoping you could tell me the approximate year of manufacturing of a tea pot I found in a vintage shop. It is quite large with an unusual shape; it has a gold trim and detail with an old-fashioned image of two women and an angel on each side. The stamp on the bottom says KAHLA under a crown and is in a circle. It is quite faded, so I cannot read where it was made. There is a number 21, I think, under the circle. As well, there is a small gold 9 or 6 on the edge.
Thank you.
hi Vanja, just send us a picture to info@2marketinternational.com and we can see if we can assist you.
I have an entire set with the same markings as described by Chris Moon. I am curious to know if I am missing any pieces of the set. What email address can I send pictures to? I would love to know how to complete my set.
Thank you,
Deborah
Dear Deborah, you can send this to info@2marketinternational.com. Look forward to seeing if I can help you.
I have a coffee set passed to me by my Oma. It is a creamy colour with gold trim and a small black three lobed “scallop” rim design. The mark in the back is a green shield with KAHLA on a diagonal banner. The shield is topped with a 5 pointed crown. There is a shape in the top/left of the shield that looks like a pagoda (3 stacked triangles?)’ and a 6 point star in the bottom/right. Under the shield is the number 16. I don’t know when my grandmother got this set but she came to Canada in 1954. I’d like to pass the set to my daughter and I’d love to tell her the background. Danke.
Please send us a picture and we will get you additional information.
Look forward to seeing what pattern it is.
Hi,
Ive recently been given a set of dishes with “Kahla” and in a circle under a crown with “German Democratic Republic” printed in an arch under the circle. I’d like to see if there are any bowls for the set I have – the bowls with it appear to only be desert size. The pattern has grey and peach and green in it. I don’t know how to describe it. I’m also interested in getting a few more larger serving bowls.
Is there someplace I can e-mail the picture of the pattern so someone can tell me what pattern it is and if there are pieces in this pattern still available for sale?
Thanks
Cathie
